Today, before terms are spoken, remember first principles.
No hand holds the land longer than the land holds the hand; for millennia the earth has gathered humanity back.
Humankind did not create this planet, nor breathe life into life. Dominion is a fiction; guardianship is the duty.
Faith is never a weapon; values are never a mask for hunger. True faith shelters life; true values protect the vulnerable. All else is an idol raised on fear.
Blood is not legal tender for borders. Land outlives names; life outloves land.
Only one victory is permitted: peace. Only one empire is worthy: freedom in union with love.
Let the sacred be unarmed, the vulnerable unharmed, the future unburdened.

Creation is infinite; humanity’s measures are small. Nothing humanity can grasp is greater than the life it is entrusted to love. No coastline is wide enough to cast a shadow across the ocean of creation; no border is worthy of blood. If you must win anything, let it be the quiet in which a child can sleep.
Humanity stands at the hinge of time. The world is changing faster than old reflexes can steer. One small leap of trust—one breath of courage—and children will step among the stars. Imagine a child, thirty years hence, laying the first stone of a gentle world, whispering: “I wish you were here.” Answer from today: “We chose peace, so we could be with you.”
Lay down the illusion that glory lives in conquest. The only legacy vast enough for this century is life, freedom, and the love that guards both.
Choose now:
- To end the trade of blood for borders.
- To protect the living before protecting pride.
- To be guardians of land, not owners of each other.
- To speak as people of faith—any faith, or none—who refuse to weaponize the sacred.
- To plant seeds, not scars; to sign covenants, not curses.
This is courage: to stop what diminishes us.
Let today be remembered as the day you broke the old cycle and chose a greater horizon. Let your signatures become doors that open, not walls that close. Let your names be written not in the ledger of victories over enemies, but in the book of lives preserved.
You are guardians, not lords.
Peace is the only victory.
Life, freedom, and love—now and forever.
May this assembly choose the future over the echo of the past. May you leave this room with one answer for the children of tomorrow:
