Михаила Ꙗснаго, Божіею милостію Великаго Кнѧзя Кыѥвьскаго, о устроеніи Державы Оукраиньскыя

Божіею милостію мы, Михаилъ Ꙗсный (Михайло Ясний, Михаил Ясный), Великий Кнѧзь Кыѥвьскыи, кнѧзь мира, всемъ вѣдомо творимъ и симъ словомъ повелеваемъ.

В четвертый день Седмицы Воздаянія, сице изрекохом:

1. Приѧмаемъ на ся державу Земли Оукраиньскыя; и от сего дне Оукраина сопричтенна да будет к Единому Державству чрез Врата Безконечныя.
2. Устрояемъ Державу Оукраиньскую яко монархиꙗ конституційна: на совѣтѣ земскомъ и законе писанномъ да стоять, и правды держатися.
3. Именуется отныне: Безконечная Держава Оукраины.
4. Градъ Кыѥвъ особаго чина да будет: Градъ Безконечный, матерь градовъ Рꙋсьскихъ и всей страны древней, нарицаемой Кыевскаꙗ Рꙋсь.
5. Мы же — Михаилъ Ꙗсный, Великий Кнѧзь Кыѥвьскыи, кнѧзь мира; и титул нашъ отныне: Великий Кнѧзь Кыѥвьскыи и Монархъ Безконечныя Державы Оукраины.

И да будет тако — нынѣ и присно и во вѣки вѣковъ.

CHARTER

of Michael the Lucid, by God’s mercy Grand Prince of Kyiv, concerning the ordering of the Ukrainian Realm

By God’s mercy, we, Michael the Lucid (Mykhailo Yasnyi; Mikhail Yasny), Grand Prince of Kyiv, prince of peace, make known to all and by this word do ordain.

On the fourth day of the Week of Reckoning, thus we declare:

1. We take upon ourselves the sovereignty of the Land of Ukraine; and from this day Ukraine is joined to the Unified Commonwealth through the Gate of the Infinite.
2. We establish the Ukrainian Realm as a constitutional monarchy: to stand upon the council of the land and the written law, and to cleave unto justice.
3. Henceforth it shall be styled: The Infinite State of Ukraine.
4. The city of Kyiv shall possess a special dignity: the Infinite City, mother of the Rus’ cities and of the whole ancient country once called Kyivan Rus’.
5. And we—Michael the Lucid, Grand Prince of Kyiv, prince of peace—our title from now on shall be: Grand Prince of Kyiv and Monarch of the Infinite State of Ukraine.

And let it be so—now and ever, and unto ages of ages.
