This is a playground about a big idea called T Theory. The idea sounds strange at first: there is no clock hiding inside the universe. Nothing anywhere is "keeping time." Instead, everything counts — and the biggest, best example is why things fall. So we are going to throw an apple. Hard.
Think about what you do when you "measure time." You count something. Your heart goes thump, thump, thump. A clock goes tick, tick, tick. The Earth goes around the Sun — one birthday, two birthdays, three. Every single "time" you have ever measured was really a count of something that repeats.
That is T Theory's whole trick. It never says the universe is wrong — it says the universe never needed the extra part. Take any rule from a physics book, cross out "seconds," write "beats," and the rule still works. This page plays that game with the most famous rule of all: gravity.
Scientists found out something amazing about a hundred years ago: every particle — every electron, every atom — behaves like a tiny drummer with its own steady beat. Heavier particles drum faster. Climb the tallest mountain in the world — taller, a make-believe mountain that pokes above the air. Now throw an apple sideways, flat along the ground. It falls and lands. Throw harder — it flies farther before it lands. Now keep throwing harder and harder and watch what happens to where it lands. Because the Earth is round, the ground starts curving away underneath the apple…
The Moon? The Moon is a giant apple that has been missing the Earth for four billion years. The space station? Apples with astronauts inside, missing the ground sixteen times a day. Nothing up there floats — everything up there falls, and keeps missing.
Old picture: the Earth grabs the apple with an invisible hand and yanks it down. T Theory's picture: remember the slow drums. The side of the apple closer to the Earth counts a tiny bit slower than the side away from it. And anything that walks with one slow side and one fast side will turn toward the slow side — the way you'd veer if one of your shoes stuck to the floor a little on every step.
So the apple isn't pulled. The apple is just walking through its own counting, and the counting is thinner near the ground — so its path bends down. Falling is leaning toward where the drums beat slow. That's the whole trick. And because every drummer leans the same way — apples, feathers, astronauts, light itself — everything falls together. Gravity treats everyone exactly alike, because gravity isn't a hand that grabs things. It's the counting itself, running slower near the heavy.

The reading: T Theory re-reads these same equations with the time variable replaced by counts compared to counts — mass as tempo, gravity as the thinning of the counting, falling as following the gradient of your own count. No equation is altered and no prediction changes; that is the point, and the honest limit.
