The Three Horizons — No Beginning to Count From
Particle, Hubble, event: three horizons, three different numbers — 46.2, 14.4 and 16.6 billion light years, today. This instrument asks one question of each: what does the definition need in order to exist? Two need only the count, and in the long run they are one seam. The third is an integral with a zero at the bottom — and it is the only one that requires a beginning.
Standard cosmology draws three horizons around every observer, and they are not three names for one thing. The particle horizon is the radius of the observable universe — an integral of accumulated opportunity whose lower limit is a first frame, t = 0, written into the definition itself. The Hubble radius is c∕H — no integral, no history, a pure statement about the present rate. The event horizon is the farthest a signal sent now will ever arrive — the first lock of the corpus, and it needs no origin either. The audit is the last row of each card: two survive the striking of t intact; one does not evaluate at all without its zero. Strike t and the bang goes with it — not denied, undefined.
Four benches carry the argument. The Strike integrates the Friedmann equation live — Planck 2018, nothing stored — and lets you drag the scale factor across five decades: the Hubble radius and the event horizon close on one another and settle onto c∕H∞ = 17.41 Gly, the de Sitter seam, while the particle horizon diverges — accumulating a history, not measuring a world. The Lapse draws ν(r) = ν₀√(1−r²∕R²) in the register hues, feeds it to g = −c²∇ln ν, and reads the fall pointing outward — the acceleration astronomy bills to dark energy. The Track computes the Three Locks memorandum against itself: a track whose every block spawns at a fixed rate is exact de Sitter, and the memorandum’s own figures — the horizon at 30,000 blocks, the arrival at 17h 10m 54s, the stretch to 900 million — come back to the second. And the Wall reads what is actually measured at the far edge: 2.7255 K, redshifted z ≈ 1100 — a temperature, not a memory of an explosion.
The page separates its claims: established — all three horizons as textbook cosmology from Planck 2018; the de Sitter static lapse; the convergence on c∕H∞ in a Λ-dominated future; the CMB at 2.7255 K since 1965; supernovae running slow by exactly (1+z); the Bekenstein ceiling; and the memorandum’s published figures reproduced to the second; the interpretation — every t replaced by the count, the particle horizon as the shadow of the assumption rather than a feature of the world, the CMB as the frozen edge, expansion as line 03 pointing outward; open, and said in the open — the comoving convergence is genuine; de Sitter’s originless static patch is a statement about that patch, not a proof the universe is exactly de Sitter; the singularity theorems, inflation and the identity of dark energy all stay open. The wall shows what the wall can show.
