Unified Gravity — The Director’s Cut
In T Theory there is no t to count gravity with. The states stand all at once — shadows beyond counting — and something must group them, or no story holds. Cinema found the trick a century ago: cut the frames so the neighbors merge, and the viewer supplies the motion. The system’s reading: gravity is that director. Not a force in the frames — a selection of states, the cut that merges what nothing else can merge. The fall is the editing. The time is the shadow.
Two instruments carry the claim. THE EXPOSURE puts a shutter on the hundred-million-star census of the Observer volumes: cut a new frame each moment and the fast wheel lives in grain; open the shutter and one long exposure pours the turning into a single image — the four arms smear into a smooth, shell-like cloud around a bright core, the same picture chemistry draws of the electron. Hold the wheel and the cloud collapses back to four crisp arms. Pattern and cloud are not two objects; they are two groupings of one census, decided by the shutter, not the sky. THE DIRECTOR takes one moon and casts its ninety-six states on the wall at once — a shell, no motion, no pull. Slide THE CUT and the states splice into sequence: somewhere along the slider a fall appears that was in no single frame. Equal areas, a sweep, an acceleration pointing at the world. Nothing was added to the states. The pull lives in the splice.
The page separates its claims the way every instrument of the system must: established — general relativity: geodesics, the equivalence principle, free fall as weightlessness, tested from Eötvös to LIGO and run daily by GPS; proper time as a path’s own length, no universal t; Kepler’s equal areas; flicker fusion and cinema’s merging frames; motion blur as integration over an open shutter; interpretation — gravity as the grouping of the counting: a selection of states, the director’s cut, time as the shadow the cut throws; g as a property of the edit; pattern and cloud as shutter verdicts; the challenge itself — whether gravity exists apart from how t is cast onto the wall — raised as reading, never as result; open and limited — quantum gravity a century unsolved; whether the selection rule can be derived rather than assumed; and the instrument’s own honesty: the moon’s states are computed from the very orbit the reading claims to explain — the page demonstrates the grammar of the claim, it does not derive the ellipse.
