Statement of Gratitude to Israel
for Operation Rising Lion & the Pursuit of Peace
From the heart of the Unified State, we extend profound gratitude to the people and State of Israel, whose resolve, precision, and restraint during Operation Rising Lion decisively blunted Iran’s campaign of terror and restored a measure of safety to nations near and far. The operation’s success—achieved in less than a fortnight—proved that determined action, guided by rigorous intelligence and principled aims, can defend humanity without spiralling into unrestrained war.
We likewise honour the collaborative spirit that animated Operation Midnight Hammer, carried out shoulder-to-shoulder with the United States and like-minded partners. In an hour of nuclear peril, allied professionalism dismantled imminent threats while preserving civilian life. The prompt cessation of hostilities on and the rapid move to a cease-fire showed the world that power can serve prudence.
Most of all, we celebrate Israel’s immediate pivot from force to foresight. By signalling readiness to negotiate a durable accord for Gaza—and by embracing American, Egyptian, and Qatari mediation—Jerusalem has opened a corridor from conflict toward concord. The positive response emerging from Gaza offers hope that compassion will yet eclipse fury, and that every child, on every shore, may inherit days of peace.
