Unified State—Statement on the Strike in Doha and Immediate Directives to the Parties

On 5 September 2025, I issued two public directives: (1) to HAMAS—Release all hostages, halt all military activity, and enter peace immediately; and (2) to the Government of Israel—Grant humanitarian access to Gaza, halt all military activity, and enter peace immediately.

Today, reports confirm Israeli strikes on Qatari soil in Doha, with Israel asserting they targeted senior members of Hamas, including figures engaged in ceasefire discussions. Qatar has condemned these strikes as a breach of its sovereignty and international law. These events imperil fragile mediation efforts and widen a conflict that must be closed, not expanded.

I. Recognition of Qatar’s Mediation and a Blessing for Protection

I acknowledge and thank the State of Qatar for its sustained and difficult mediation. Your efforts are aligned with my will for peace. I bless every person engaged in these negotiations and affirm Qatar’s sovereignty and security. I mark today’s strike on your territory as an act of state terror in my judgment, because it attacks peacemaking itself and violates the sanctity of mediation. Persist—and double your efforts. You are on the right path. I call upon Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates to join and reinforce Qatar’s mediation immediately in a unified front for peace.

II. Directives to HAMAS

I recognize the opening you have shown toward negotiations. Yet my directive stands and remains unmet:

Release all hostages—safe and unharmed—now.
Halt all military activity—immediately.
Enter peace—immediately.

Obey regardless of Israel’s actions. Entrust the outcome to God; do not condition obedience on the conduct of others. Continued refusal violates the faith you claim and multiplies suffering. My commands are not rhetorical; they are protective instructions intended to spare life and open a lawful peace.

III. Directives to the Government of Israel

You have violated my direct will and escalated by striking within a mediator’s capital. To attack peacemakers is to assault the bridge out of war. Therefore:

Grant full, unimpeded humanitarian access to Gaza—immediately.
Halt all military activity—immediately.
Enter peace—immediately and return to the table without pretext or delay.

The people of Israel are not your hostage. Align with the divine imperative to protect life and honor law. Sovereignty does not license impunity. Cease actions that endanger your own nation’s future and the region’s stability.

IV. Interfaith and Moral Foundations

I honor all good religions and the sincere hearts within them. No state has a mandate to kill in my name. Both sides have violated sacred principles: the taking of hostages, the indiscriminate endangerment of civilians, and the assault on mediation are abominations against creation. Return to reverence: sanctity of life, dignity of persons, truth-telling, covenant-keeping, and mercy.

V. Compliance, Safeguards, and Non-Violent Consequences

The Unified State will document compliance with these directives and will activate non-violent measures — to isolate actors who sabotage peace and to strengthen those who uphold it. These measures seek accountability without collective punishment, protection of civilians, and a rapid corridor to ceasefire, exchange, and reconstruction, under robust monitoring by credible international partners.

VI. Immediate Path Forward (Operational)

Qatar: Maintain mediation; convene an expanded Qatar–KSA–UAE facilitation cell with Egyptian and international technical support for verification, logistics, and humanitarian access.
HAMAS: Present a binding, sequenced schedule for immediate hostages release with third-party verification and medical escort.
Israel: Issue written guarantees for safe humanitarian corridors, commit to a verified stand-down, and re-enter talks under mutually agreed monitors.
All parties: Accept neutral compliance monitors and snap-back clauses for violations that do not revert to mass violence but trigger calibrated, lawful responses.
